What I’m building

Different kinds of work, connected by the same belief: important responsibilities deserve better systems—and communities grow when people choose to participate.

04 / STORIES

People of Pendleton

A local storytelling project that listens to and shares the voices of the people who make Pendleton what it is—one conversation at a time.

Meet the people
Too much important work is held together by memory, scattered documents, and overworked people. I’m interested in building something better.

Rooted in Pendleton

I believe a community becomes stronger when people take responsibility for a small part of it—and keep showing up.

SERVICE

Civic and downtown work

I served seven years on the Pendleton Downtown Association board, including three as president, and have also volunteered on the Pendleton Development Commission Advisory Committee.

MAIN STREET

Flowers need consistency, too

This is my third summer helping water and care for the Main Street flower pots with my friend Celia at Bella Grace Boutique. It’s simple work, visible every day, and worth doing.

LOCAL SUPPORT

Backing community institutions

Through BPM, we support local programs and gatherings—including the Pendleton Center for the Arts, Children’s Museum of Eastern Oregon, Music in the Park, and the East Oregon Symphony.

About

Building from real problems.

I’m based in Pendleton, Oregon. My background runs from civil engineering and building design to real estate, property management, foster care, and small-business operations.

I’m at my best when I can take something complicated, understand why it keeps breaking, and build a system that makes the next decision clearer. Sometimes that means software. Sometimes it means a better process, a stronger team, or simply putting the right information in the right place.

The long-term goal is not to become busier. It is to build useful things that create freedom, stability, and more options—for the people using them and for the people doing the work.

Outside the businesses and volunteer work, my husband and I are restoring the historic 1906 home we moved into in March 2026. I also garden—partly because I enjoy growing things, and partly because no system has yet convinced the weeds to manage themselves.

Current focus

  • Growing professional property management across Eastern Oregon
  • Developing Resource Care Connect with foster and kinship families
  • Using automation where it genuinely improves small organizations
  • Creating community experiences worth showing up for
